Rhinoplasty commonly called a nose job, the goal of a rhinoplasty is to improve the aesthetics of the nose or to restore its functioning. Both objectives can be achieved in a single operation. - Corrective rhinoplasty, aesthetically oriented, whose objective is to modify the morphology of the nasal pyramid to improve the appearance of the nose;

A rhinoplasty for aesthetic purposes will preferably be performed after 18 years, the age that corresponds to the end of growth.
Aesthetic rhinoplasty is considered a comfort surgery: it is not reimbursed by Social Security.
Functional rhinoplasty or restorative rhinoplasty can be supported by Social Security. A request for a prior agreement must be completed by the surgeon and sent to the health insurer of the patient.
