Who will be insured?
Any person or resident of the Gulf Cooperation Council who is 70 years of age or younger.
Which Trips are Covered?
Travel Smart Insurance covers traditional non-working vacations or business trips that do not require manual labor. This coverage is not permanently available to people leaving their country of residence.
How do I apply for coverage?
Please complete the attached application or provide travel information to the AXA branch or to your travel agent. Cover can only begin once the application has been approved and the premium has been paid.
How am I going to declare a claim?
Medical Expenditure: A medical claim is payable only if AXA Gulf has approached and accepted the cost. A full medical certificate from the attending physician must be submitted along with the initial bills and receipts.
Theft: You must have written evidence from the police that the incident has been registered.
Baggage Delay: written evidence of late delivery must be received from the airline.
